Antony nears Man Utd exit as loan deal verbally agreed

Mirror Football reports that after the Brazilian’s agent came out to advertise that there would be many offers to approach the hotshot player, the Old Trafford stairs were not dry. 

This has led to the 24-year-old winger being linke with a number of clubs. Both in Spain’s La Liga with Real Betis and Italy’s Serie A with Atalanta.

Including the name Olympiacos, the Greek Super League powerhouse, whose owner is Evangelos Malinakis, a Greek billionaire who owns the Nottingham Forest empire. 

The Antony hunt is part of the club’s centenary celebrations in March. And former Arsenal and Chelsea defender David Luiz has also been linke with a move. 

As part of the deal, the Red Devils will have to cover a portion of his humongous £200,000 per week wages. Currently, the highest earner at Betis is Isco, who earns €120,192 per week (all numbers via capology).

The Spanish club are trying to woo the United star by showing Manuel Pellegrini’s track record with improving the fortunes of former high-profile names such as Isco, Ayoze Perez and Giovani Lo Celso.

However, Antony declined, believing he still has the quality to easily play at the top level in Europe.
